On January 19, 2012 my room at the LaQuinta Inn, 6700 Financial Circle,
Shreveport, Louisiana is cataloged in pictures I took in my room 223. I was
charged $95.01 on a Military Discount Rate for this room. I don't know if I was
assigned this room because I am accustomed to 3rd World accommodations, but this
is low standard fair even in border city dumps.

I rolled back the covers on the left bed and found this flea residing there.We like pets and use La Quinta because of your pet policy, and a flea on the floor is one thing but housing in the bed...when were the sheets changed? |

Moving to the bathroom to get a tissue to remove the flea I found no Tissue in the sink top dispenser. |

The wall of the shower area was filled with a dark substance, such as mold. |

The front of the tub area had a similar filth in the groove. Additionally a chip was in the upper side of the tub. Looked like a heavy object, like a hammer was used on it to chip it. |

Compressor Noise |
|
At 1:23 I was awakened for my sleep by a noise that sounded like a large deisel engine was running close by. Eventually it stoped; but, again at 3:30 I was ripped out of my sleep by the same noise. It turnrd out to be the faulty compresser banking in the little fridg! Nice to have when we need it, but it must not cause sleepdepravation. |
