About Thomas E. Woods, Jr.

Thomas E. Woods, Jr., holds a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard University and his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Columbia University. He is the author of over 120 articles, which have appeared in Investor's Business Daily, the Christian Science Monitor, The American Conservative, New Oxford Review, Southern Partisan, and dozens of other periodicals, and his writing has been translated into French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Czech. He is a contributor to five encyclopedias, including The Encyclopedia of the American Civil War, for which he contributed the entry on the Rev. Robert Lewis Dabney. He is the editor of The Political Writings of Rufus Choate (volume 11 of Regnery Publishing's Conservative Leadership Series)..He is s currently Assistant Professor of History at Suffolk Community College of the State University of New York. A native of Massachusetts, he is a founding member of the League of the South, and lives in New York with his wife. They are expecting their first child.
