Southern Historical Conference August 29 - 30th |
More About the March Across Dixie We Must Take Back Our Heritage - In the schools, our children are taught a false history of the defense of the South by our Confederate ancestors. They are prohibited and expelled for wearing Southern symbols and showing pride in our rich history and heritage. We find our symbols blacklisted, our monuments and heroes under attack and under the so called false issue of "political correctness." H.K. Edgerton is one Black, Confederate American who has had enough and this is his idea and his March Across Dixie to publicize our heritage and call proud Southerners everywhere to come to the defense of our heritage and history before it is too lat!. A Public Relations Campaign - The defenders of Southern history and heritage do not have the mega millions of the corporate elites, nor the propaganda power of the establishment press or the millions of government politicians, bureaucrats and leftist voters wanting to continue feeding at the government trough of "make work" employment, handouts and welfare. Here in the South, we have had enough of the enemies of Dixie who enjoy slandering our region, lying about our proud history and making fun of our culture, speech, Christian religion, conservative nature and religious morality. This march will be coordinated with a public relations and education campaign to show that the South Was Right In 1860 and Is Right Today. An Educational Effort - H.K. will march the 1,300 mile trip in period uniform and the boots of a Confederate soldier, carrying our Southern flags proudly all across Dixie. This is a daunting task filled with hardship and real danger but one necessary to awaken those in the Southland who have forgotten the brave sacrifices of our Confederate forefathers. It will also serve to educate the many Americans who have been taught a false history of the War For Southern Independence. "quote" From Constitutional Republic To Empire - H.K. will present the true story of the war about how White, Black and Native American Southerners fought and died to defend our nation from Lincoln's unconstitutional invasion. His war destroyed the original constitutional republic with limited powers as established by our nation's patriot founding fathers and started American on the road to an all powerful centralized government at home and an aggressive empire abroad. Too Late For More Talk - The time of studying and rehashing our history is over, now is the time to emulate the duty, honor, bravery and sacrifice of our Confederate forefathers and go on the offensive for the Southland. This March Across Dixie is one man's effort to follow the call to duty of Robert E. Lee. "insert quote" A Time For Action - H.K. calls on all Americans who "talk the talk" about defending our history and heritage but who fail to "walk the walk" to take real action to defend Dixie. For him, this long march is just one Southerner saying to the world that he has had enough. This is not a sacrifice of time, effort and shoe leather but rather a celebration of everything Southern that makes our region the real America and the home of what could become a rebirth of the American Dream.. A Fund Raising Effort - The Southern Legal Resource Center and the SCV Heritage Defense effort have won many important heritage battles while being constantly under funded and outgunned by the liberal establishment's government lawyers and the loaded Southern Poverty Law Center. Sadly, in America today, right can only beat might if we are well funded as the enemies of Dixie have the press, courts, the business community and most government officials on their side. We must literally raise millions of dollars if we are to successfully defend Dixie. A Wake Up Call For Dixie - Finally, this former head of the Asheville NAACP is making his wake up call to the American nation he loves and has supported in the armed forces. We must not allow our enemies to rewrite our proud Southern history and heritage. He well understands the brainwashing of many Americans about our symbols, our cause and our history as he has been there himself, found the truth and now seeks to share his true Confederate vision with all Americans. Please support H.K. Edgerton in his historic March Across Dixie.
